Warranty & Warranty Activation

The 1 YEAR WARRANTY on STARTERS & ALTERNATORS begins from the date of purchase only after we have received your old core part. Cores must be returned within 30 days of receiving your order. (This applies to parts that are stated in the description as such from 8/21/2014).

The core part must be complete, not disassembled, and be returned without breaks or cracks in the case. The core part must match the replacement part purchased. The stated warranty term applies only to the above parts purchased from Maniac Electric Motors.

Maniac Electric Motors holds no responsibility for labor costs or installation fees. 

Maniac Electric Motors warranties the above mentioned products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the 1 year period from the date of purchase for the original purchaser.  With proper care of electrical system and battery condition starters and alternators can last 15+ years.

Maniac Electric Motors will replace any of the above parts should that part be deemed defective by Maniac Electric Motors.

ABUSE, IMPROPER INSTALLATION, PARTS ADDED PERIPHERALLY are specifically NOT covered by the warranty agreement. Care must be taken if you exercise unusual driving conditions. Proper maintenance for cars that are only occasionally driven, or cars that are used on track etc.

This warranty covers ONLY the part purchased from Maniac Electric Motors . 

Maniac Electric Motors  assumes or accepts NO responsibility for any expenses incurred for the removal or re-installation of the purchased part.  There is no expressed or implied warranty for any labor performed.  Labor costs are solely the responsibility of the purchaser of the above mentioned parts.  The original purchaser of the part will be the only party to which this warranty applies.  There is no stipulation of warranty to anyone but the original purchaser. Anyone attempting to execute this warranty that is not the original purchaser of the product will cause the warranty to immediately VOID. 

Should any of the above mentioned products prove defective in material or workmanship within the specified warranty period, the purchaser must return the defective part to Maniac Electric Motors  with a approval number (RA#). Please contact Maniac Electric Motors for RA# and the approval for return is good for 20 days. After 20 days you must contact Maniac Electric Motors  for another RA#.

The serial number of the part returned MUST match the serial number stated on the invoice of purchase for any warranty agreement to be executed.

Your dated invoice is your warranty certificate and establishes your eligibility for said warranty.

This stated warranty can be limited to one replacement part per warranty period at our discretion (if determined a possible external issue is causing premature failure) and is non-transferable under any circumstances.

Maniac Electric Motors, at our option, will replace or repair the warranty part free of charge.

For any Maniac Electric Motors  warranty claims requesting cross shipping (Maniac Electric Motors ships replacement part while awaiting alleged defective part to be received), the purchaser is obligated to provide deposit based upon the retail cost of the item.  The deposit will be immediately returned to the purchaser upon receipt of the alleged defective part via PayPal or credit card refund.
